OK, not really. But, our first date was at Disneyland! If you ask Kenny, he will tell you that we met at his friends work on our way to Disneyland (he is so technical!) and I, of course, tell everyone we met at Disneyland! Because it is the most magical place on Earth!
My first impression of Kenny was "WOW!" I though he was a total catch. He was incredibly good looking! He was so good looking that I thought that he would never be interested in me! Luckily for me, he thought I was pretty cute too!
We spent the entire day together riding rides and waiting in lines. We got to know each other really good, and I realized that this guy was different than anyone else I had ever dated. He was charming and kind, and I could tell that he had a really good heart. I could also tell that he really liked me! I always tease and tell him that I know that it was love at first sight for him. After spending a weekend together, we said goodbye and I headed back home to Idaho. I thought that would be the end of it.
Kenny had other intentions! He was about to let me out of his grasps. We talked on the phone every day for hours! And when we weren't talking on the phone, we were texting each other. He came to Idaho multiple times to visit, and then 2 months later, we were engaged! It was a very short time frame, and everyone thought we were crazy. And we were crazy! Crazy in love!
We were sealed in the Rexburg, Idaho temple on August 18, 2012, and it has been the best decision of my life. I love my husband very much and could not be happier! I look forward to spending eternity with my best friend and soul mate!
